Easy! Get in touch through our enquiry form with your event date, location and a few details about what you're planning. We'll check our availability, provide a range of options and together we can create a package that's perfect for your event.
What size band should I book?
That's entirely up to the vibe you're after.
Whether you're dreaming of a relaxed acoustic ceremony, smooth cocktail-hour tunes or a packed dance floor with a full party band, we have a lineup to match. From solo artists and duos through to our full 10-piece party band, we'll help you choose what best suits your event, venue and budget.
Are you a set band, or do the musicians change?
The Uptown Seeds is a small collective of professional musicians that regularly play together. Unlike some cover band businesses, you know you’ll always get The Uptown Seeds experience.
Every member of The Uptown Seeds collective has been carefully selected for their professionalism, musicianship and ability to deliver the same high-energy, polished experience we're known for.
Can you learn our special song?
Absolutely.
Whether it's your first dance, walking down the aisle or a song that means something special, we'd love to make it part of your day. Just let us know well in advance so we have time to create the perfect arrangement.
Do you take song requests?
We certainly do!
We love reading the room and playing songs that keep your guests singing and dancing. If you've got a few must-play songs (or a few you'd rather avoid), let us know before the event and we'll build them into the night where possible.
Can you provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception?
Yes!
Many couples book us for the entire day. We can perform beautiful acoustic music for your ceremony, keep things relaxed during cocktail hour, then transform into a full party band for the reception.

Do you provide sound and lighting?
Yes. We provide professional sound equipment for our performances, along with basic stage lighting where required.
If your event requires larger production, additional lighting or specialised audio-visual equipment, we're happy to help organise that too.
Do you travel?
Definitely.
We're available for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations throughout Australia and internationally.
If travel or accommodation is required, we'll include those details in your personalised quote.
How long do you perform for?
Every event is different.
Our performance packages can be tailored to suit your schedule, whether that's a single acoustic set or several hours of live music throughout the day and evening.
If you'd like us to stay a little longer, additional performance time can usually be arranged.
Do you perform at corporate events?
Absolutely.
From awards nights and gala dinners to product launches, EOFY celebrations, Christmas parties and conferences, we know how to read the room—whether that means creating a sophisticated atmosphere or filling the dance floor.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible.
Popular wedding dates and peak event seasons can book well in advance, so once you know your date, we'd recommend getting in touch to secure it.
What happens if someone in the band becomes unavailable?
One of the advantages of The Uptown Seeds being a professional collective is that we have an incredible network of experienced musicians.
If illness or unforeseen circumstances arise, we'll arrange an equally talented replacement so your event goes ahead without compromise.
How do payments work?
A booking is confirmed once your deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due one week before your event via direct deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, however if your event is rescheduled and we're available for the new date, we'll happily transfer your deposit to the new booking.
